During a visit to the West Bank, the US Ambassador to Israel urged Israeli authorities to ensure the safety and security of Palestinian communities and to prosecute those responsible for violence against civilians. This is not the first time the US diplomat has taken a stance to protect the rights of Palestinians in the region. Additionally, the ambassador expressed firm opposition to proposed plans by far-right Israeli ministers regarding the displacement of residents from the Gaza Strip.
